There were a couple of true tenant-potentials, a few scammish ones and many who portrayed as property agents. Of the latter, several dissipated when I asked for their estate agent card; one took a while to send and then told me she was just her lady boss assistant. Fee wise, one volunteered to mark up from my base price so that I could use the differential to pay his commission, one said he would charge me only S$750 flat and one said he would collect agent fee from the tenant. *** Out of them all, Li Jun shone through, a steady beacon of service-oriented trustworthiness and integrity. He offered no special deals, just much time, patience and care to understand my resistance to engaging an agent and what was required in my case. At some point, despite my resistance, I realised that he was the knowledgeable and experienced head and pair of hands I needed. It was a great experience working with Li Jin on it. He has good professional knowledge of the rental markets and was able to give very useful advices all the time. Li Jin listened well to our requirements on the rental ?? the tenant profiles we are looking for, the expected rental and worked diligently to fit house viewings to fit our current tenant??s schedules appropriately. We felt that he was not pushy like another agent rep that talked to us to just grab the first offer. He genuinely wanted to find the best fit for our house. He has good contact list to get us help to clean up the house after existing tenant left.
